Young Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) had to live a difficult life: his parents died in a car accident when he was still a baby, he was raised by his uncle Vernon (Richard Griffiths) and aunt his Petunia (Fiona Shaw). For some reason unknown to the ten year old, the Dursleys let him live in the small room under the stairs and treated him more like a pet than family. His fat cousin Dudley Harry Melling), the best son of the Dursleys, was giving Harry trouble. On his eleventh birthday, Harry Potter finally received a mysterious letter from a wizarding school at Hogwarts, informing him that he had been selected as one of the future students of this famous school. Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane), the big man who brought the letter, finally introduced Harry to the reality of his life: His parents were wizards and witches, and they were killed by the evil wizard Voldemort (Richard Bremmer). Harry still has a scar on his forehead from this event. Ever since he survived the attack as a baby and stripped Voldemort of his powers, he has been famous in the wizarding world ever since. The Dursleys, who did not believe in witchcraft, had not told Harry anything about his true character. So Harry was very surprised, but excited to begin his training. At Hogwarts, Harry meets his teachers and befriends Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson). The trio suddenly discover that Potions Master Severus Snape (Alan Rickman) seems to be plotting to steal the three-headed dog guarding him. Since no one would believe that some first years discovered such important things that would offend even the Hogwarts professor, they took it upon themselves to find out what Snape was doing. Their quest for truth overcomes many obstacles, from daily school life, witch Quidditch match (Quidditch is a popular wizarding game), Fluffy the three-headed dog, and many tasks he must do to up to a set point.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone begins with a one-year-old Harry Potter brought home by his aunt Petunia after the death of her parents. Eventually he grew up to be eleven. Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia and her cousin Dudley treat him very well. He meets Hagrid, who tells him he is a wizard and hands him his Hogwarts acceptance letter.
Harry goes to Hogwarts and is thrilled to see how exciting this new wizarding world is. He befriends Ron and Hermione, who spend time together as they are all at Gryffindor’s house. Harry developed a keen interest in broomsticks and discovered the game of Quidditch. He learns his story of him, the death of his parents and a dark wizard named Lord Voldemort is responsible. He also discovered the origin of the famous scar he received during this confrontation with Lord Voldemort. He uncovers many secrets and events surrounding a mysterious incident that prompts him to solve them with his friends Ron and Hermione.
