Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Characters Role with Basic Details
Harry Potter
Harry Potter is the primary protagonist of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” and the entire Harry Potter book series. He should be in his seventh year at Hogwarts, but instead he embarks on a trip in search of the Horcruxes that Voldemort hid to protect pieces of his soul. Harry sets out to uncover the Horcruxes with his friends Ron, Hermione, and the rest of Hogwarts. Dumbledore guides him until the end of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” at which point Snape slays Dumbledore. While Harry’s hatred for Snape is greater than that for Voldemort at the beginning of this book, he soon learns that Dumbledore urged Snape to kill him instead of Draco Malfoy. In the epilogue of this book, 19 years later, it is revealed that Harry eventually marries Ginny Weasley and has three children.
Lord Voldemort
Lord Voldemort is the primary adversary of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” and the entire Harry Potter series. Harry’s wand responds to Voldemort’s magic with a wand acquired from Lucius Malfoy even when Harry is unconscious, prompting Voldemort to pursue the Elder Wand from the beginning of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” He finds Ollivander, the wandmaker, then Gregorovitch, another wandmaker, then Grindelwald, the Dark Wizard rumored to have taken the Elder Wand from Gregorovitch, and last, he retrieves the Elder Wand from Dumbledore’s grave.
In addition, his efforts fail even when he employs the Elder wand, which is why he murders Snape in the belief that this will finally make the Elder Wand his ally. As Harry was one of Voldemort’s Horcruxes that he was unaware of, this attempt likewise fails, and Voldemort weakens himself due to his attempt to kill Harry. In the end, Harry defeats Voldemort, restoring peace to wizardkind.
Mr. Ron Weasley
Ron Weasley is Harry’s best friend and is present with Harry throughout the book, except a brief altercation with Harry and Hermione in the forest during their hunt for Horcruxes, after which Ron returns home. Ron returns around Christmas using the Deluminator Dumbledore bestowed him as a legacy.
Harry is ready to die in the water, but he saves him. He rescues Harry and the Sword of Gryffindor from the water and destroys the Horcrux contained in Slytherin’s locket. Along with the other members of the Order of the Phoenix, Dumbledore’s Army, and Hogwarts, he battles valiantly and emerges triumphant. According to the conclusion of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,’ he marries Hermione and bears two children with her.
Hermione Granger
Hermione Granger is Ron and Harry’s best friend. In ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,’ despite not attending school, she demonstrates her inventiveness and is considered one of the best witches of her time. She is the constant source of ideas and planner of the most exact plots in this book. Hermione is the one who determines that the emblem of the Deathly Hallows must be tied to the book that Dumbledore chose to give her as a legacy.
In addition, she determines all the defensive charms and other hexes she must apply in various situations, like as their time in the Forest of Dean and their escape from Gringotts and the Ministry of Magic. Hermione eventually marries Ron, and the couple has two children.
Albus Dumbledore
Albus Dumbledore was the former headmaster of Hogwarts until his death the previous year, which was caused by Severus Snape shooting him with the killing spell. It was later established that Dumbledore and Snape had planned this death jointly, and that Dumbledore intentionally requested to be slain by Snape as he was already dying, so that Voldemort would trust him.
Dumbledore appears in Harry’s dream at the end of this book, where he and Harry debate the events leading up to that point and Harry’s future options.
Severus Snape
Severus Snape is the Hogwarts headmaster. After Albus Dumbledore’s death at Snape’s hands and the Death Eaters’ infiltration of the Ministry of Magic, Snape replaces Dumbledore as the headmaster of Hogwarts. It is actually a well-planned bluff by Snape and Dumbledore, despite Voldemort’s notion that Snape is there on his orders. Snape plants the plot for the “seven Potters” to convey Harry Potter safely amidst the Death Eaters’ ambush at the beginning of the book. In addition, Snape accidently wounds George’s ear when he attempts to target a Death Eater.
Snape manages Hogwarts admirably in Dumbledore’s absence, despite the existence of the extremely dangerous and student-abusive Carrows. Snape is finally murdered by Voldemort, who considers Snape to be the wand’s master. This is when he shares his memories with Harry, which indicate that Snape’s loyalty to Dumbledore stems from his passionate love for Harry’s mother, Lily Potter.
