Harry Potter
This book is about Harry Potter. He is the main character. He is 13 years old and is probably the most popular student at Hogwarts. In “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,” he goes through a lot of stress because Sirius Black, a notorious murderer who broke out of prison, is considered after Harry. Throughout the book, Harry is constantly being attacked by dementors, but he learns how to fight them. Hermione Granger
Harry and Ron both know Hermione Granger. She is a brilliant student, and her role in this book is vital. Severus Snape hated James Potter, Sirius Black, and Remus Lupin when he was in school, so he is furious when he sees Lupin and Sirius in the Shrieking Shack.
Professor Flitwick
Charms are taught at Hogwarts by Professor Filius Flitwick. He is the head of Ravenclaw house and is a wizard with many skills. He told the minister and the others at the Three Broomsticks about the Fidelius charm and how Sirius Black was said to have betrayed James and Lily Potter. Professor Flitwick also carefully looked over Harry’s new Firebolt for any jinxes, curses, or even Dark Magic that might be on it.
Draco Malfoy
Draco Malfoy goes to Hogwarts and is in his third year there. He lives in Slytherin and always tries to pick on Harry and his friends. After Harry successfully flies on Buckbeak’s back in the Care of Magical Creatures class, Draco tries to get Buckbeak to bow to him, even though Hagrid warned him not to. Buckbeak attacks Draco in the end, and Draco goes too far and gets Buckbeak sentenced to death.
Lucius Malfoy
Draco Malfoy’s father is Lucius Malfoy. He is a very proud man who always tries to prove that he is better than everyone else. He is sure that pureblooded wizards are better than everyone else. He is in charge of putting the Hippogriff Buckbeak in jail for attacking his son, Draco.
Ginny Weasley
Ginny Weasley is Molly and Arthur Weasley’s youngest and only daughter. She is the sister of all the Weasley brothers, including Ron. She is in her second year at Hogwarts, and her house is Gryffindor. She seems to really like Harry a lot.
Percy Weasley
Percy is the third oldest of the Weasley brothers. He is the oldest of the brothers and is in school at Hogwarts right now. He just became head boy and is very happy about it. He also goes out with Penelope Clearwater, a girl from Ravenclaw’s house.

Harry Potter’s mother was Lily Potter. She was the one who stood between Harry and Voldemort, and in the end, she gave her life to save Harry.
